The wave of predictions has come true when it comes to electric cars. The electric car innovations are really nothing new. In all reality, they have been around for years. Electric cars were being experimented with in pre-WWII countries all over Europe and the United States. Wary of the thoughts of failing oil production, Adolf Hitler made serious inroads into electrical power for vehicles, planes, and ships. Now with those same fossil fuel concerns, automakers are devoting their time and money on electrical hybrids that either rely on no gasoline or are used in conjunction with combustible engines. One company making great strides in electric automobiles is the German car-maker, Audi.

Audi’s participation in electric vehicles (EV) has been just as or more aggressive than other EV carmakers. Investing millions of dollars into research and development and progressive, innovative studies, Audi has produced an EV that is definitely part of the growing demand for these types of energy-conscious cars.
